Charlotte TCBY owner makes frozen yogurt fast food

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Call it yogurt on wheels. TCBY (The Country's Best Yogurt) recently launched a new frozen yogurt truck here as part of the company's franchise expansion plans. The company says the mobile truck model is the first of its kind.
 
The truck offers four flavors that change periodically, along with a range of toppings. A Facebook page alerts customers to the daily location of the truck throughout the area.

POLL: Voters cool on economy, Gov. Perdue

 
RALEIGH, N.C. – Attitudes among North Carolina voters remain bleak concerning the economy as most say it will take at least two years or more for the recession to end.
 
Eighty-six percent of voters think recovery is more than one year away while 62 percent said they think it will take over two years for the economy to improve and the current recession to end. Twenty-four percent said they think it will take between one and two years, while just one percent said the recession has ended.
