Review: North Carolina Bookwatch - The Wet Nurse's Tale

Susan Rose isn’t your average protagonist: she’s scheming, promiscuous, plump, and she is also smart, funny, tender, and entirely lovable. Like many lower-class women of Victorian England, she was born into a world that offered very few opportunities for the poor and unlovely. But Susan is the kind of plucky heroine who seeks her fortune, and finds it . . . with some help from, well, her breasts. Susan, you see, is a professional wet nurse; she breast-feeds the children of wealthy women who can’t or won’t nurse their own babies.

Review: Verbatim's Tuff-‘N’-Tiny penny-thin USB flash drive

Upon finding out that I would be writing a review for Verbatim’s new Tuff-‘N’-Tiny USB flash drive, I pulled up some of the product's press releases and other literature from the company website. It was then that I saw a photo of the 8GB flash drive next to a penny, and for no particular reason I was not overly impressed.

However, a few days later the Fed-Ex guy dropped off the royal purple 8GB USB drive. My jaw dropped at how small the Tuff-‘N’-Tiny really was! After hunting through my office for a utility knife to remove it from it’s Tuff-‘N’-Larger-than-needed packaging, I placed it in the palm of my hand. I was in disbelief that we had evolved into a society that could fit 2 data DVD’s worth of information into a piece of plastic not much bigger then a press-on finger nail.

Book Review: Seasick

New York, NY (PRWEB) -- It's no mystery why Gloria Nagy would set 'Seasick,' her wickedly enjoyable whodunit cum satire on the world's largest cruise liner.

The Palace of The Dolphins, a 220,000-ton metaphor, provides oceans of the excess and human flotsam and jetsam that Ms. Nagy gleefully lacerated in her best-sellers 'A House In The Hamptons' and 'The Beauty.'
